Optical Coatings Materials
Nagase offers unique resin and nanoparticle technologies that provide a range of unique properties while maintaining optical clarity. They have a wide range of electronic, automotive and architectural applications.
UV-Curable Hybrid Organic-Inorganic Resins: These enable fast curing while providing resistance to extremely high temperatures and UV light, while maintaining optical transparency.
Thermosetting Lens Molding Compounds: Based on a hybrid organic-inorganic structure, these allow for use in high temperature processes without losing optical transparency.
Nanoparticle Dispersions: These are highly stable and target a range of desired capabilities for modifying formulations, offering three important properties:
- Near Infrared (NIR) Absorbing/Blocking: NIR blocking nanoparticles and nanoparticle dispersions are used where optical transparency, UV-stability, and heat/infrared absorption of incident light are necessary.
- High Refractive Index (RI): High RI nanoparticles and nanoparticle dispersions are highly stable and are used to modify refractive index and are available in a range of solvents.
- Transparent High Dielectric Constant (High-k): High-k nanoparticle dispersion enables ability to achieve transparent coatings with high dielectric constant.
