Crosslinked Acrylic and Styrenic Microparticles
Crosslinked acrylic and styrenic microspheres are the new generation of matting and soft-feel agents for paints and coatings. Useful in both waterborne and solvent-borne coating systems, they provide excellent dispersability in paint formulations, as well as an excellent compatibility with the coated film. The result is a durable matte or soft-feel coating, which has superior scratch and mar resistance to competitive materials.
Major Benefits for Coatings:
- Film strength: Scratch, mar, polish, stain resistance
- Matting
- Tactile effect: Soft-feel
- Dispersability: No particle agglomeration
- Transparency and low oil absorption
